Easter Vigil Sat., Mar. 22 ~ 7pm
Join us as we participate in this service rich in symbolism. There are four aspects to the service: celebrating Jesus, the light of the world; the service of the Word, where scripture reminds us of God’s saving acts throughout history; the service of water where we renew our baptismal vows; and the service of the bread and cup as we celebrate communion with the risen Lord. The word “vigil” connotes that character of this service, it is unhurried and reflective. We’ll meet in the Social Hall at the Oxford facility ( 1720 Oxford Way ).
